Dragons Roller Hockey

The Dragons were formed by Chris and Jeremy Haas in the summer of 2004 and began playing in the F2 Roller division at the Plainville Indoor Sports Arena. The team has won three championships in 25 seasons. The first championship came in the team's sixth season. Alternate captain Chris Eick was named MVP for his hustle and clutch performance.

The second championship came in the sixteenth season. Goaltender Dan Sisson was awarded the MVP for his superior goaltending. The next season, defenseman Nick Cote broke him by scoring a goal against him in the dying seconds of a game. This goal robbed Sisson of the goaltending trophy during the Dragons' seventeenth season. He was never the same after that goal, and Dan soon left the team to pursue other interests.

The third championship came during the Winter 2009-2010 season. Mike Kraemer had taken over goaltending duties, and led the team to an 8-3-1 record. Nick Cote led the team in scoring. The Dragons swept the playoffs courtesy of Cote's clutch goals in the finals, but Kraemer's nearly flawless goaltending earned him the MVP.

The Dragons are currently in their 28th season and play in the E2 Roller division.
