The Dragons are a roller hockey team in the F2 division at Plainville Indoor Sports Arena. During the summer season of 2004, brothers Chris and Jeremy Haas put a team together with the help of several friends.

Originally, goaltending duty was to be split between Jeremy Haas and Chris Plourde. Long-time friend Chris Eick joined the team as the alternate captain. Joining him on offense were forwards Allan Rice, Don Ouillette and CJ Alberts. Defensemen Bob Harris and Kevin Bernier also joined the team.

The original lineup had its ups and downs. Chris Plourde took over full-time goaltending duties after it was clear the team struggled to control the puck in its own end. This allowed Jeremy Haas to take a spot on defense. Though the team did not make it to the playoffs, the record improved for the second half of the season.

The second season saw a number of players come and go. Players leaving included goaltender Chris Plourde, defenseman Bob Harris and forward CJ Alberts. Defensemen Jim Shea and Erica Stone joined the team, and Chris Haas took over goaltending duties to begin the season before friend and former teammate Mike Milak joined the squad. Haas then moved to forward. The team made the playoffs in season two.

The Dragons' sixth season saw new and old players return to the lineup, including former defensemen Bob Harris and Jim Shea, and forwards Don Ouillette and Chris Eick. Dan Sisson was now tending the net, while Victor Ivanov joined the forwards and Nick Cote joined the defensemen. During the season, the Dragons finished second in the league, dispatching the third-seed team in the first round before going on to win the finals championship in three games. The league MVP, named by the winning team, went to Chris Eick for his hustle and clutch performance.

The team made it to the playoffs each season thereafter, often losing in the first round. Though there were a few appearances in the finals, the team could not repeat their championship run. During their sixteenth season, the Dragons made a playoff appearance, playing the Direwolves in the first round. The Dragons advanced to the second round thanks to spectacular goaltending from Dan Sisson. Next they beat the Maple Leafs in the second round.

In the finals, they played against the Predators, which had developed into a rivalry during the regular season. The Dragons swept the series in two games thanks to the great goaltending from Dan Sisson and the onpour of goals from the offense. Dan Sisson was named MVP.

The Dragons won their third championship during the Winter 2009-2010 season. The team finished 8-3-1 thanks to Mike Kraemer's goaltending during the regular season, and Nick Cote powered the offense from the blue line with 16 goals and 11 assists. The team had a bye in the first round due to forfeit, and won the championship over the Maple leafs in two games, both with a final score of 2-1. The second game featured Nick Cote scoring his second goal of the playoffs, which was a deflection shot followed by a bounce off the boards, then back off the goaltender before it bounced in the net. The second goal came in overtime to seal the win. Though Nick carried the team offensively, Mike was named MVP for his stellar goaltending.

The Dragons are currently in their 22nd season and play in the F1 Roller division.
